Her current owners, who had fallen in love with her at first sight and adopted her on the same day that I'd taken the above shot (I think it was a day after she was found) sent me a few photos of ABBA yesterday. Scroll down for the lovely surprise.

WHAT A LOVELY SURPRISE INDEED!!
ReplyDeleteKathryn Duncan
Amazing that the dog got so big!
ReplyDeleteMazol Tov, happy new pups and mom.
Mazol Tov - 'Congratulations' (or literally 'good luck'). I looked it up to see what it meant.
ReplyDeleteI am not too sure this is a happy ending. Spaying abba would have been kinder as we already have too many puppies in Trinidad & Tobago. Just check out any of the Shelters.
ReplyDeleteThere needs to be a whole education drive re spaying/neutering.
ReplyDeleteABBA!!..Sweetie!..you are continuing the circle of life! Don't worry Elspeth, these babies will also be adopted. I've already got a donkey-sized dog but if I were nearby I would have loved one of these. I won't tell my brother though. He's already got four dogs because he cannot resist the whiskers of a happy, silky, snuggling, wriggly, pot-bellied, milk fed/scented puppy. Good luck to the mother and puppies!
ReplyDeleteBlessings
I think its blessing for all those involved, thank you for sharing:)
ReplyDeleteThat's too sweet! She looks well, I am enthused about her happy ending. I am sure the puppies will find good homes of the few that are available.
