We did it!

l to r: me (Elspeth/Tek Har), Guru Meher, Deirdre/Durga Devi
This weekend was a fantabulous one, thanks to the experience of three soul-stirring Kundalini Yoga workshops with Guru Meher, who flew in to Trinidad on Friday for the first time. Inspiring, elevating, transforming, energising and catalytic are just a few of the words that come to mind for what was delivered, experienced and shared by all.

The name we came up with for these workshops (Manifesting Miracles) is exactly what happened. We (me, Guru Meher and Durga Devi), the workshop organisers, put out the workshop flyer at the beginning of January this year—unavoidably "late", yes, but trusting that what is to be will be. Had we given in to the fear of "there's not enough time for this to happen", we—and those who attended the three workshops—would not have had this great experience. The sum total of all of this reminds me of Jesus feeding the multitudes with just a few loaves of bread and some fish. The moral of the story is: do not look at what you have as "not being enough" (time, money, equipment, etc). What is to happen will and can happen and what you have will either multiply or turn out to be just enough to manifest the intention. Just go for it.
Ananda Mahi
The first two workshops (9 a.m. - midday and 2 - 5 p.m.) were held at Ananda Mahi on the way up to Maracas. These were, respectively:

"More Love, More Money" - direct your desires to create satisfaction, contentment and fulfillment of your life purpose.  (The fact is, having more love, more money or more anything starts inside first, with gratitude and the subsequent realisation of prosperity—that what you have already is enough to enable you to be you. With this realisation, more comes).

"Emotional Liberation" - Harness the intense energy of your feelings. Transform anxiety, anger, depression and trauma into allies for healing and success.

The all-day Sunday workshop (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.) was held at Anjali Studios in Maraval. The subject was: "Your Life Questions Answered" - Learn to quickly and reliably consult your personal Guru—the Divine Soul.

The names of the workshops and any account of them that I attempt to give won't justify the actual experience. Suffice it to say, I would suggest to anyone reading this, that whenever there are Kundalini Yoga workshops being offered, be open to attending. You will be there for a reason, because there inevitably will be something for you. I went to a great one about three weeks ago led by a Kundalini Yoga teacher from Toronto. Again, an inspiring, elevating, transforming experience for all who were present.

The perfect end to the Sunday workshop—all of us sitting around the pool . . . where a ripple from one foot moving in the water travels across the water like the vibration of a thought, feeling or intention, to touch someone else. A reminder of how powerful we are and of how wisely and lovingly we must use this power.

  1. This really spoke to me

"do not look at what you have as "not being enough" (time, money, equipment, etc). What is to happen will and can happen and what you have will either multiply or turn out to be just enough to manifest the intention. Just go for it."

I am trying really hard to approach my porjects this way.

    Congrats on a successful workshop!

  2. Go for it, Francine. This experience was a great reminder and confirmation that we do not have to worry. Dive in and the Universe supports us in the best ways possible—even ways that we ourselves could not have envisioned.

  3. How beautiful! As Native people we have learned that calming the spirit always gives clarity.

I love what you said about love...it is the great transformer. When you are 'in love' - that is, literally keeping your conscious awareness in love, there is no lack.

    Love is your life purpose.
