Are we Dreaming?

The Dream Catcher which was once a part of the Dream House Window Lamp - now hanging under the sapodilla tree at the bottom of the garden.
*
A few months have passed since we placed our dreams in the Dream House and then planted them with the Dream Trees. So much has happened since then ... and still so much promises to come as life shifts, allowing our dreams to manifest.

Is there anyone reading this who placed a dream in the Dream House or in the clay vessel when we planted the trees? Are you seeing and feeling your dream(s) unfolding?

The only thing that will stop you from fulfilling your dreams is you.
- Tom Bradley -

Dream as if you'll live forever. Live as if you'll die today.
- James Dean -

I think we dream so we don't have to be apart for so long. If we are in each other's dreams we can be together all the time.
- Calvin & Hobbes -

Dreams are illustrations ... from the book your Soul is writing about you.
- Marsha Norman -

You see things and you say "Why?" But I dream things that never were and I say: "Why not?"
- George Bernard Shaw -

You are never to old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.
- C.S. Lewis -

Whatever you do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius and power and magic in it.
- Johann Wolfgang von Goethe -

If one advances confidently in the direction of one's dreams and endeavours to live the life which one has imagined, one will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.
- Henry David Thoreau -

  1. Aaawwww how sweet! And inspiring...All the quotes are so lovely and in thinking how lovely they are it made me think bout James Barrie the man who created Peter Pan...if Johnny Depp's representation of him in that movie -Finding Neverland...is mostly true. Well I think for me he is an example of a dreamer of a person who dared to live different from the norm and succeeded...I really connected with some of him when I saw that film...and I had never realised it was all of that behind the creation of Peter Pan like it was a theatre show back then and no one thought it would work out and how it was a hit but on the first night he filled the audience strategically with kids from an orphanage/hospital?...the whole other part about his platonic friendship with the mother of the kids who inspired the whole thing is also so beautiful in the film. I guess in today's world he'd probably be quickly singled out as a possible peadophile but Im sure in those times it had stigmas attached to how he lived too...but the film is so lovely in its representation of the story...and at least from the film's story I find it so sweet and he is such a pure innocent dreamer in it! I often tell people I have Peter Pan syndrome cause Im not married and in my 30s and live in the same in home into which I was born. Of course I work and stuff and pay the bills so not entirely true anyway. But what is wrong with Peter Pan syndrome really I think everyone must really wish they could have it in its fullest sense its just social conditioning tells us otherwise...Obviously we dont literally not grow up and of course our body and needs change as we age but really all the pressures bout job/career and all the trappings that go with it like house, car, the perfect spouse, the perfect kids, the perfect family...keeping up with the Jones...where did our desire to be like that start? From social conditioning Id like to think...

I just looked up James Barrie and on wiki it says the Johnny Depp film was semi-fictional but from the points they said were changed I dont think what was fictionalised altered the gist much it was just done to make the movie more romantisied or flow better. But yep it says he was accused back then even as a suspected paedophile but never proven and one of the 'peter pan kids' even spoke up for him saying as I was just writing that he was so innocent...and it is in this innocence he was able to create something like Peter Pan. (Im not quoting the story word for word!)

Hey and you know when I was searching online I saw there is a Peter Pan story call Peter and the Starcatchers! Dreamcatcher...starcatcher...when you wish upon a star...your dreams come true...hmmm! And I recall you put that song up here a time as a vid blog from youtube! How synchronous?

  2. I have to say that I don't remember many of the dreams I put in! I put in tons of dreams for people in my life and I would like to believe that they are all unfolding as they are supposed to!
