Pupdate: Remember ABBA?

Those of you who were reading my former blog around August of last year will remember the puppy in the above shot ... affectionately named ABBA (Read why here).

Her current owners, who had fallen in love with her at first sight and adopted her on the same day that I'd taken the above shot (I think it was a day after she was found) sent me a few photos of ABBA yesterday. Scroll down for the lovely surprise.

Mazol Tov, happy new pups and mom.

Mazol Tov - 'Congratulations' (or literally 'good luck'). I looked it up to see what it meant.

I am not too sure this is a happy ending. Spaying abba would have been kinder as we already have too many puppies in Trinidad & Tobago. Just check out any of the Shelters.

There needs to be a whole education drive re spaying/neutering.

ABBA!!..Sweetie!..you are continuing the circle of life! Don't worry Elspeth, these babies will also be adopted. I've already got a donkey-sized dog but if I were nearby I would have loved one of these. I won't tell my brother though. He's already got four dogs because he cannot resist the whiskers of a happy, silky, snuggling, wriggly, pot-bellied, milk fed/scented puppy. Good luck to the mother and puppies!

That's too sweet! She looks well, I am enthused about her happy ending. I am sure the puppies will find good homes of the few that are available.
