Usually when eating watermelon, I sit in the driveway with Jasper. I toss the seeds under the pine tree. The seedlings sprout quickly but, between Jasper stepping/lying down on them and the hot sun scorching them, they don't survive. Lately with all the rain, the seedlings actually started getting big and spreading rapidly. Yesterday I noticed these three little gifts emerging ... with more on the way.
