Alphabet Poem

Inspired by this Photographic Dictionary, which I came across when reading this blog, I decided to write a poem using only words beginning with each letter of the alphabet (in alphabetical order). It's a nice little challenge for the mind. I wrote two more this morning. My first attempt is below. Why not give it a go yourself?

Alone,
Breathing Closely.

Dusky Evening
Falls ...
Gorgeous,
Haunting.

I
Joyfully Kiss Lips:
Moist
Nectar
Open.

Perhaps Quiet Romances
Start Thriving Under Violets,
Where,
X-tatic,
You
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Your kitty is so adorable! My daughter and I sooooo want a cat. We're trying to convince my husband that it would be a good idea. So far, no luck. He does most of the cleaning, so I can see why he would object...

And the poem is beautiful! The last 3 lines are AWESOMELY perfect!

Thanks. I hope you can convince your husband. Next thing you know he ends up being the one most attached to it.

What a fun idea...

Tell the woman who wants a cat that they mostly clean themselves...as far was a little fur on the rug to be vacuumed well the rug must be vacuumed anyway, mustn't it?
