Fireheart

An unexpected moment ignites in the Old Year's night bonfire
*
It wasn't until I had downloaded and viewed the bonfire photos that I realised this one was a heart of fire. (Interesting, since I had found a heart stone in the road just before we started the fire). I think the fireheart happened in a moment when the flames had temporarily died down, the coals were glowing and I had tossed in a handful of sparklers. Looks like the heart burst into flame when the sparklers ignited and I happened to (unknowingly) capture the moment. Note the magical, sparkly bits flying and floating around the fireheart ... symbolic of us dancing later, barefoot and laughing on the wet earth, around the fire (into which we had all placed our intentions).

you really have an eye for finding such beautiful forms... i remember also that white heart you posted a while ago... it was a frog's eggs if i'm not mistaken...

Happy New Year!
may all your days in this new year brim with love, peace and happiness...

Thanks, HB! The best to you, too. Yes, you're remembering the heart-shaped frog spawn in the puddle. Hearts tend to jump out at me wherever I go!
